Our team is widely recognised as subject matter experts in​ forensic fire investigations, with experience spanning structural, mechanical plant, large and small vehicles, marine, and bushfire.  They have also been formally accepted as expert witnesses in multiple legal jurisdictions.

Our personnel have extensive experience in fire investigations, having conducted a considerable number of origin and cause fire determinations across a diverse range of environments.  This includes complex and high-consequence incidents, with a strong focus on evidence-based analysis, scene examination, and reporting suitable for evidentiary legal and insurance purposes.

Our team members hold diverse tertiary and trade qualifications, including backgrounds in science and electrical trades.

We bring extensive bushfire expertise, having conducted fire assessments across a wide range of scenarios, including work undertaken in the United States by our principal.

Our team are trained in ICAM and TapRooT methodologies for root cause analysis in workplace incident and fire investigations.

Our company principal is a Licensed Private Investigator and registered Security Advisor, with over 20 years of experience in fire scene analysis, emergency management planning and response, and the delivery of HR, workplace, and BAL assessments.

Our staff hold the following qualifications:​

  • Degree of Applied Science in Chemistry (Deakin);
  • Graduate Diploma of Fire Investigation (CSU);
  • Advanced Diploma of Public Safety – Fire Investigation (CFA);
  • Diploma of Firefighting Management;
  • Certificate 4 in Firefighting;
  • Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Public Safety – Emergency Management (CLET);
  • Graduate Certificate in Applied Management – Emergency Services (AIPM);
  • Certificate IV in Public Safety – Firefighting Operations;
  • A Grade electrician qualification;
  • Electrical Contractor licence.
